Radia is built privacy first. Your photos and skin profile are used to power your analysis and routine, nothing else. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information Radia ("Radia", "we", "us") collects, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. Radia is a mobile app that reads your skin from a selfie and builds a personalized cosmetic skincare routine, tracked by your Glow Score. We designed Radia so that the only reason we ever touch your data is to make the app work for you.

2. Information we collect

We collect the minimum we need to give you an analysis, a routine, and a way to track your progress:

  • Email address. Used to create and secure your account, sign you in, and send essential account messages (for example, password resets).
  • Photos and selfies. The images you capture for skin analysis. They are processed to generate your Glow Score and skin readings, and stored in a private storage bucket tied to your account.
  • User ID. A unique identifier we assign to your account so your data, scans, and routine stay linked to you.
  • Onboarding skin profile answers. The responses you give during setup (for example, your skin type, goals, and sensitivities) so your routine and guidance fit you.

We do not require your real name, phone number, or precise location to use Radia.

3. How we use your information

We use your information for app functionality only. Specifically, to:

  • Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • Run your skin analysis and calculate your Glow Score.
  • Build and update your personalized morning and night routine.
  • Power your AI skincare coach so its answers reflect your skin and your routine.
  • Show your progress over time when you re-scan.
  • Provide customer support when you contact us.

4. What we never do

We want to be unambiguous about this:

  • We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
  • We do not use your photos, skin profile, or activity for advertising.
  • We do not run third party advertising or cross app tracking inside Radia.
  • We do not use your photos to train models for unrelated purposes.

5. How your data is stored and processed

Radia uses Supabase as our data processor for authentication, database, and file storage. Your account data and onboarding answers are stored in a managed database, and your photos are stored in a private storage bucket that is not publicly accessible. Access is restricted to your authenticated account and to the limited systems required to run the app.

Supabase processes this data on our behalf and under our instructions, solely to provide the Radia service.

6. Your rights and choices

You stay in control of your data:

  • Delete your account in the app. Radia includes in-app account deletion. When you delete your account, we remove your account record, your photos, and your skin profile from our active systems.
  • Access and correction. You can view and update your skin profile answers in the app, and you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Withdraw and re-scan. You can stop using the app at any time and delete individual scans where the app provides that option.

7. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active so the app can show your history and progress. When you delete your account, we delete your associated personal data, including your photos and skin profile, from our active systems. Limited records may persist for a short period in routine backups before they expire, and we may retain minimal information where required to meet legal or security obligations.

8. Security

We protect your data with industry standard measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and private storage for your photos. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so while we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will act promptly and notify affected users where required.

9. Children's privacy

Radia is rated 9+ and is intended for a general audience. It is not directed to young children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children in a way that violates applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

10. Cosmetic guidance, not medical advice

Important: Radia provides cosmetic skincare guidance only. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice. If you have a skin concern that may be a medical issue, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Radia evolves or as laws change. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of Radia after an update means you accept the revised policy.
